While the quantity of research on how arts, crafts, and creative activities affect the brain in a healing capacity is limited, there is no doubt that the underpinnings of therapy are present. People who use crafting to help quell their anxiety, stress, depression, or even physical pain are essentially repairing the neural pathways in their brains, which also helps slow down age-related illness.

Focused Energies
When people partake in their favorite mental activities, whether that be puzzle-solving or creative expression, they are using their brains differently than in normal day-to-day tasks. They aren’t necessarily thinking less, they are thinking more effortlessly. The brain goes into a sort of trance when it is doing an activity that the person actually enjoys and embraces.

The carrot at the end of the stick is not just survival or the end of work, it is the entirety of the activity itself that is the carrot, which puts the brain into a state of calm, similar to meditation.

Challenging, but not Stressful
What sets arts and crafts apart from other activities that also engage the brain is that you aren’t racing against a clock, measuring your performance, or following rigid instructions. These constructs limit the way the brain makes new connections in the brain. When a person is engaging in a creative activity, they are embracing any challenges in that space with enthusiasm and are able to naturally focus their energy into that moment. This is why it is so easy for time to fly when you are caught up in your artwork.

This is what all teachers and life coaches like to see in people who are dealing with depression, uncertainty, and who normally spend all their time working or thinking about work, for example. A great hobby is something that gives you purpose, passion, and energy. These feelings aren’t imaginary, they are products of the brain’s chemical reactions and neural activity.

Natural Medication
While scientists may not have a complete understanding of how crafting heals and repairs our bodies, they can observe how it changes the levels of the chemicals released by the brain. The most prominent increase in chemical activity is, of course, dopamine. This is your “feel good” drug that is associated with many different stimuli: sex, achievements, eating, and compliments, to name a few. When we are engaged in a craft that we are proud of, having fun with, and feel free to express ourselves with, our brains are constantly rewarding with the steady release of dopamine.

This release of dopamine is often sought through different addictions, but the big difference between an addiction of your art and an addiction to gambling, drugs, or sex is that you are the sole supplier of the necessary devices to trigger that release of dopamine, you are the dealer, which means no plateauing, cold streaks, or cut-offs of what makes you feel good.

Reversing and Preventing Aging
Ultimately, doing what brings you joy and purpose in life, without conditions or restrictions, is what scientists and health experts would call the Fountain of Youth. Crafting activities engage the brain in a way that actively works against degenerative diseases, like dementia or Alzheimer’s. It is estimated that over 35 million people suffer from some form of dementia, and that number is only going to increase. While modern medicine is making great strides, we must not overlook the deceptively simple, but effective means of alternative healing, which some consider it as a the healing of the mind, body, and soul.

Healing the Heart, The Ancient Science of The Sages

Healing the Heart, The Ancient Science of The Sages
By Era Chandok

Heartbreak and soul searching romantic relationships usually require a lot of tender loving care for the heart, a gentle reminder that you are complete as you are and are not lost in the wilderness of emotions.

Healing the heart takes time and can be aided by many means, the ingenious method used in the ancient days becomes all the more meaningful as we acknowledge that we are beings of energy. Mala beads and yantras together harness the energies that are needed to heal the specific chakra. The energy lines and the conflux of vibrations that are generated through mantra chanting the flow of energy occurs from the universe – the cosmic being to your heart – prana that which is a part of the divine. Gorgeous gem-mala beads, strung by hand with pendants of rudraksha, the seed of Shiva and Hamsa the protection hand, the malas generate double the energy and perk up sad hearts. Gem and color therapies blended to create jewelry that treats all emotional energies of a breakup: nourish and heal a broken heart, as well as honor the love once shared. The chakra mala beads are endearing gifts for a loved one going through an emotional roller coaster of break up. Shiva mala beads, Shakti beads, Krishna mala, Ganesha mala are the perfect way to begin that journey toward a healed heart. Here are few details on this unique ancient secret of the sages:

Sri Yantra and quartz crystal mala with rudraksha pendant jewelry helps to start new beginnings, and encourages the shakti in you out of the slumber of a broken spirit, sad and lost leading to the birth of the new you.

I went through several episodes in my life and each time I would connect to a different mala and mantra as the one resonating with my chakra that needed healing. My deep and personal inspiration was my grandmother who would meditate morning and evening for hours repeating mantras for the well being of our family and her desire to enrich our lives.

Gemstone mala beads combine color and gems with symbolic meanings like the Om pendant, Chakra pendants calm the mind, enhance and fortify healing and are a continuous reminder throughout the day to stay secure with these loving thoughts. The reiki pendants balance the chakras and energize the stream of energy that flows from the root chakra to the crown. Ancient science of the sages in practice today and for many years to come will always be how we balance ourselves with the energies of nature.

Bead Jewelry Making Ideas for Subtle Personality Expression

Looking for new ways to express your unique personality? Nothing says it better than bead jewelry. Expressions of uniqueness is said even better if you can make your own jewelry. The fabulous world of beads is one of the most creative hobbies anyone can learn. There are many ways to express yourself and communicate with others using beads such as the process of creating, then wearing your creations, gifting your creations, and selling your creations.

Different people can wear the same bead necklace and express a completely different style or statement while wearing that same bead necklace. The memorable moments you make when gift giving your handmade bead jewelry is like the icing on a cake which provides a finishing touch that just pulls the entire process of communicating with bead jewelry together.

There actually is no end to the different looks a person can create with beads. Bead jewelry is classic and will be a staple in our environment for many years to come. Bead jewelry is not a fad that is here today and gone tomorrow. It will remain fashionable and stylish always. Bead jewelry will also always be one of the more subtle forms of communicating with others.

There is certainly no “shortage” on ideas for beaded jewelry. As you look at photos sharing what others have created and as you notice the bead jewelry others are wearing you will form mental pictures and brain files that will later be incorporated into your own designs.

Inspiration for bead jewelry creativity is all around us even in ordinary things we come across in our daily life. There are no rules for designing jewelry. There are specific techniques to aid you in your designs, but definitely not a single rule book about design. Design is just whatever your mind can imagine.

A mind set for enjoyable creative bead jewelry making to follow might be some of what follows:

Create what you like, there is sure to be someone else who will like it too.
Experiment with different types, textures, sizes of beads and jewelry components in one piece.
Use color combinations that create harmony, sort of like creating music with sounds that when put together all go together in some way or another.
Spacer beads, bead caps, connectors are pieces of little nothings until you use them creatively. When used creatively they jump to attention and all dance together in perfect form.
Find the beads “you” like the most and work with those. If you are always trying to figure out what “other people like” before you begin the creation processes, you most likely will miss part of the fun in a creative journey for yourself. Chances are more that there will be just as many other people who like what you like so then there you have discovered from others what they like as well. For those pieces you create that seem to not be liked as well by others, perhaps they are just for you instead. Hold these pieces closes to your heart as being “uniquely you.”

You can make a pretty bead necklace with one focus bead in the center and by varying the number of strands, length, color and shape of beads create totally different necklace designs. Necklaces can be symmetrical or asymmetrical. Asymmetrical necklaces are created by mixing up the beads or by ensuring that no two beads on the necklace are the same. Try something different on an asymmetrical necklace and use the same type of beads in different colors on each side.

One of my favorite kind of beads are the Czech glass pearl beads. MIx Pretty pink Czech glass beads with sparkling Swarovski faceted crystals to create a lovely opera length necklace. For another color and bead style variation of this same necklace, mix in some lavendar and mint glass crystal beads in cube, round and rondelle shapes.

Bead jewelry is not limited to necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Beautiful bead rings can be as simple as one row of beads strung on wire or thread and secured in a finishing triple knot to form a circle. Think of making a casual evening wear bracelet from pearls and rainbow glass crystals.

Simple watch bands are just not for the bead hobbyist. Watches come alive with bead bands. A bead watch band can be as simple as a couple rows of beads strung on wire or elastic stretch wire to multiple rows of mixtures of beads, connectors and jewelry components exactly the same as bracelets yet having your watch as the focal point instead of a bead centerpiece. The trick here is to choose colors, other jewelry components and a watch face that all harmonize together with each other.

Generally speaking if you wear a bead bracelet, your earrings and necklace should match and harmonize exactly with each other. You can wear a bead bracelet and earrings to match and skip the necklace or wear a necklace and earrings to match and skip the bracelet.

Few women are without pierced ears. At the very minimum in jewelry a woman will wear earrings. If you wear anything more than this, you should strive to have matching bead pieces.

I have a beautiful 3 piece set now in my shop at Etsy. This 3 piece set is made of antique copper buddy braids, and all jewelry components are in antique copper. The beads are Turquoise Czech Fire Polished and Gold Crystal Rondelles. This a gorgeous 3 piece bead set you can see at this link: https://www.etsy.com/listing/203539076/carmilitas-three-piece-bead-sets?ref=shop_home_active_7

In this article I have shared with you some bead jewelry making ideas as well as a completed 3 piece set of beaded necklace, bracelet and earrings. The possibilities for designing bead jewelry is endless. The individual expression of personality as well as subtle communication with others while gift giving, creating, or wearing bead jewelry is priceless!

Learn How to Create Fabulous Looking Bead Jewelry

So you want to become a bead jewelry artist? What are the first steps to this process? This will depend a lot upon what kind of learner you are. If you learn well visually video on demand services may be your best options for learning how to create bead jewelry. Video on demand services allows for very close up views that can make you feel just as if you are sitting directly in front of the instructor. You are able to see the construction process much more clearly.

Ask yourself now why do I want to make beaded jewelry? Some of the more common answers may be “just for fun and pleasure.” The beading hobby can satisfy an urge for creativity and designing processes. One of the obscure reasons or benefits for taking up the hobby of beading is emotional and mental benefits. As you focus upon what you are making with your hands and you see the beauty come to life it gives you a break from immediate problems that cause tension and stress in your life. The hobby becomes a personal time to recharge yourself.

We all have to find ways to de-stress and to allow the mind and body time to relax and/or escape from the every day push and pull of survival. Beading jewelry can provide that journey to an escape you never knew existed before.

There is also a great deal of added self esteem or self accomplishment and pride when you learn how to bead and actually start producing pieces of jewelry you and others find desirable. I think, well, I like this, but does others like it too. When you get confirmation from other people of their likes of your finished jewelry pieces the desire to create more seems to come soon after.

Some people just cannot do absolutely anything completely alone. If you are a person like this, then try introducing your new hobby of beading to others you want to spend time with and work as a group. You never know how much better two heads or three or more heads can be better than one and soon you got a partnership in a worthwhile business endeavor together. As for me, I like working as a solo artist.

Other immediate benefits of learning something new such as the art of beading stimulates new brain cells and creates new pathways in the brain helping to keep the mind and brain healthy. You may be able to ward off old age diseases such as dementia when you keep your mind and brain learning new things. I been itching for a long time to learn something new. Beading jewelry has been the answer to that itch for me.

In general beading jewelry is an econmical hobby creating fashionable jewelry which also is more economical than purchasing from retailers or other jewelry artists. You also will always have on hand a gift to give for any occasion of a trendy beading design. There are few women especially who do not appreciate sparkling beaded jewelry pieces. They are eye catchers and mind pleasers.

And last but not least, learning to bead beautiful beaded jewelry is one of those home business opportunities so many people would love to harness in our low job market economy today. If you progress to a home business other areas of expertise will open up to you such as how to market and sell that in turn helps to create more healthy brain cells and extra pathways in the brain keeping you alert as you age.

What kind of beads can you expect to find for a beading jewelry artist? Thousands upon thousands just about wraps it up in perfect detail as to what you will find in the marketplace of beads. You are not limited to just a few selections when it comes to beads. This is the part that makes beading so exciting. The variety and choice in materials one can use to create bead jewelry projects is a real eye opener for anyone who never knew it all existed before. It is a fun kind of a journey into a never before explored adventure.

Artists who design beads spin out shapes of squares, cubes, oblong shapes, rectangular shapes, cone shapes, helix and the common round shape. What types will you be using in your handmade beaded jewelry projects? Just any type your heart desires is the answer. There are no rules or limitations, just a few basic beading techniques to master and a well lit area to work in is about all you need to start with.

Beads are crystallized or glass like rhinestones that imitate diamonds, rubies and emeralds. Beads are also manufactured from plastic, acrylics, clay, stone, fabric, metals, woods, nut shells, horns, bone and teeth from land animals and sea animals. There are a wide variety of beads made from plant seeds and shells from the ocean. The list goes on and on.

A variety of string is available today for stringing or weaving beads into gorgeous designs for bracelets, necklaces, and other pieces of jewelry. The string is much stronger than regular sewing threads, yet most usually can be cut with a strong, sharp pair of scissors. There are other varieties or wire and threads in which you will need to use your special jewelry tools to be able to cut into lengths you desire.

The type of fastener you choose to fasten or pull together and hold a bead bracelet or necklace depends upon what the project is. The fastener used for a single stringed beaded bracelet or necklace will be somewhat different from beaded projects of three or more stringed rows of beads.

It is possible today to begin wearing beautiful handcrafted beaded jewelry designs made with your own hands or to give as a lovely gift to someone special. It is not a hobby that requires a great deal of forethought, space or supplies. If you are interested in the art of beading and creating small fine works of art it is possible to start creating fabulous Looking bead jewelry today. Your rewards will come in many ways.

A Bead Jewelry Creativity Rush

Open your eyes to the popularity of jewelry visiting arts and crafts shows. You will see on display many varieties of jewelry designs at these fine arts and crafts shows. The displays may range from European period pieces of gemstones and pearls to African jewelry displays of bones and earthy beads. You will walk away with a greater appreciation for jewelry art and a head full of ideas for your own designs.

Jewelry artisans usually have on hand many different types of beads, bits and pieces of jewelry components of all colors, shapes and sizes. Just at first sight it may look like one big pile of “junk,” but seen with the creative eye of a jewelry artist beautiful works of art springs up out of those piles of what looks like to the naked eye just piles of junk laying around here and there. Then of course you got the real organized guys, but still all the many components that go into designing jewelry still may look like big piles of junk. It is hard to imagine how they ever ressurect anything that resembles a piece of jewelry. It happens and sometimes within a blink of the eye. Whal-la, there it is, you hold it up and it is beautiful!

Jewelry artists may also create replicas of beads using many different objects or bits and pieces of different things. In the place of stone an artist may use polymer clay. Instead of using diamonds, rubies or emeralds, a jewelry artist may use glass beads. They may replace wood beads with fabric wrapped beads. Why? A brain and mind that imagines the unusual and the unique needs more than diamonds, rubies and emeralds in their stash of jewelry making supplies. Visit with them sometime in their jewelry making art studio and see what I am telling you now is the absolute truth.

Some jewelry artists are really involved with a recycle process. Among their unique stash of supplies you may find old pieces of jewelry and old pieces of jewelry they have carefully taken apart separating each component to examine it carefully while mentally creating something brand new.
Not only old pieces of jewelry can be reused and recycled into new creative pieces. A jewelry artist may see great promise in something as simple as “bottle caps” from very popular carbonated drink bottles. People from different walks of life see differently and desire different types of jewelry that can only come from a recycled bottle cap.

I know that may sound odd, but to the creative mind of a jewelry artist, he or she sees many ordinary things in our environment in which can be turned into completely new and interesting pieces of jewelry to adorn our self with.

One method I just recently read about using bottle caps was to take beads and intertwine them with chain or leather that are then woven between the bottle caps. The end result of this process is a fabulous and glamorous trendy look in fashion jewelry pieces. And it all started with what? Bottle caps!

Visiting the arts studios of jewelry artisans or these arts and crafts shows can really be an eye opener as well as mind and brain creative stimulator. You will not walk away empty minded.

The art of beading is an exciting hobby to delve into as deeply as possible. There are many facets to this hobby from beginning work to intermediate work to very advanced beading techniques and jewelry creating designs.

I just recently saw a lovely pair of huge earrings made into crosses, all bead work, black and white beads woven together in the shape of a huge cross, very wide and reaching way beneath this woman’s chin in length. They were beautiful and a real eye opener of bead work art.

If you appreciate bead work art, when you see examples of beautiful creations like this, it just really wakes you up suddenly out of a deep dreary land most of us occupy in time and space. You will suddenly say to yourself, “WOW” those are really a beautiful example of bead work art. Whatever you like is what you will eventually be creating as well.

If you think about it what really makes creative people successful? Take for example, one of my favorite of all times creative people was “Elvis Presley.” Of course most of us will agree he was a stunningly gorgeous man, but was it his looks that really made him successful? No, is the correct answer here. It was the fact that he naturally done in his life what he loved the most which was to “sing.” He was a very talented actor as well, and although he flunked music in school and often said anything in the way of studying and school work was never his kind of thing, it was noted, he actually had a photographic memory, most of the time enjoying his time away from the set and reviewing his lines just shortly before filming it all. What we might not realize here is that in some of his movies, some of those lines may have even been his own lines instead!

For some people who are very much visual learners you might be able to just look at the object and be able to make a replica, for others, there needs to be some step by step instructions and for others not only written step by step instructions but a video of instructions is even better. We all learn differently.

There are many professional beading instruction videos available today both for sale and for free on the video sites such as You Tube. You can learn a lot for free and maybe all you will ever need to know all for free.

I have seen classes and full courses offered for bead work jewelry making or jewelry making that cost as much as $1,000 per class. Why pay that money for a class when you can sock it into supplies and get your training for free?

The best thing about learning from videos and self instructions is you can learn at your own pace, set your own schedule, do it in your spare time. There is nothing I loathe more than a class that only meets on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. Well, I might be right in tune at least one Saturday morning exactly at 9:00 a.m. during the year, but it is very doubtful, I will be as in focus for a jewelry class that meets only one time per week on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. I have to find ways of learning that fits my personality and time schedule. I find self pace learning the best, either by viewing photographs and written instructions or viewing videos.

I am hearing many high schools today are offering jewelry making classes. I say hoo-ray about that because jewelry making can be a definite life long skill anyone can fall back on for a little extra money or for a regular income.

Jewelry making is hot! The waters are very troubled right now and anybody who has just a speck of creativity within them should jump in fast and learn to swim in the troubled waters as much as you can. Jewelry will always be in our environments worldwide and with the addition of our markets opening up to each of us worldwide via the internet those who are able to create and love the process of creating jewelry are sitting on an absolute gold mine.

It all starts somewhere and usually starts with assembling a few beautiful beaded necklaces, bracelets and earrings for yourself, for your friends and family. There are countless special occasions, events, and celebrations for which jewelry gifts are always appreciated.

Of course there is tough competition selling jewelry, but there is competition in every aspect of our lives. One clue to overcoming the competition aspect is to specialize and find your niche.

A person can either let that fact slow them down or just keep creating regardless of how tough the competition gets. At any rate, regardless of whether or not you make profits, your beautiful jewelry is yours to keep forever.

I love the jewelry I am making now. I am glad I did not buy it from someone else and made it myself. There is a little extra love there for things we create or put together with our own hands. I don’t know why that is, and you have to be a person who loves working with your hands to begin with to appreciate any kind of fine art such as bead jewelry making.

The Healing Powers of Love

Handmade jewelry as well as other types of jewelry is an extremely “emotionally charged” accessory to own or wear. Give a gift of handmade jewelry and you are giving a gift of love. I often now wonder why I am so passionate about hand crafting dangle earrings. I rarely in my life ever wore dangle earrings until now.

I started the handcraft jewelry hobby after one of the most hurtful experiences I ever went through in my life. I actually was not searching for a handcraft emotional healing remedy, yet, this one hobby in my life now has proved to “heal” those torn up feelings I had since Christmas 2013.
With each pair of earrings I make, I have one for sale and one to wear, I essentially have been giving back the love to myself that I felt taken away from me during the Christmas 2013 emotional trauma, or just “loving” myself by giving myself these handmade dangle earrings.

I know that sounds corny, but it is true. We can love our self even during times when it feels like nobody else in this world loves us. I suppose I had to do this for my own survival through the crisis as I did become suicidal. People who seek their own, who are lovers only of themselves and their own will do anything at any moment in time to another person without regard to how that will affect the other person. They have not the capacity to think beyond themselves or beyond those they immediately love such as their family and closest friends. Jesus is a lover of every human being and takes into account the feelings of each of us unlike vain glory seekers who seek only to please themselves and their own family and friends. Jesus loves the worst of the worst just as much as he loves the ones that actually love him. No man or woman can love God for real and do harm to another human being as these people done “willfully” and “purposely” to me on the traditional birthday of Jesus Christ. Jesus saw the entire scenario and evaluated it just as it was while these same people continued on with their own versions of vain babblings, deceits and lies. Lovers of themselves will go to great lengths to cover for themselves to do anything within their power to maintain a status symbol among their peer groups. True lovers of God will turn their face to the wall and pray for assistance and in due time that assistance does arrive.

The hand craft has brought life back to me. Love is a very strong emotion. The real love of Jesus Christ flowing from him to one who is wounded is a strong emotion. I felt the love of Jesus coming forth to me during the time these so-called “Christian” people were sending out their arrows of burning hatred toward me.

I prayed through the crisis, so I have to conclude the greatest love I received during that time alone and hurting was from Jesus. In conclusion I suppose I am saying if you feel like you have been treated cruel or harsh, Jesus can still come through for us in ways we never thought of or could imagine. I believe this is what happened to me. I believe this is the exact reason I started handcrafting jewelry.

It has been a vehicle of “love” flowing from Jesus to me to help heal the “hatred” sent to me from other people who continued on in their life working practical solutions to save face for themselves among their own peer groups. I might add these other people were people who “say” they are from the highest God, or “Christian people,” the same God who provided me with this healing. They used their minds and practical solutions along with money to work out scenarios for others to see and most likely to try and help them heal from their wounds as well. It is doubtful they prayed one honest prayer about the entire situation, but just acted upon their internal instinct to take of number one, which was THEY.

People can be cruel to us in ways that are so subtle it is absent to the natural eye and felt only by the person who is receiving the cruel act, but Jesus is a man who sees it all, and can come to us in our hour of greatest turmoil providing us with a remedy that sets in real long lasting “healing.” Jesus does not provide a temporary healing of any kind. If we can tap into the healing powers of Jesus Christ, his remedy will always be exactly what we needed and will be a long term healing, not just something to distract our minds for a little while, only to have additional problems arise because of rushed practical solutions. People don’t want to wait on the hand of Jesus to heal anything for them. They quickly get into gear and are guided by their own mind’s practical solutions. Sometimes those solutions are helpful. Other times a man-made practical solution only creates more grief. Jesus and honest prayers provide the “perfect” solution. Oftentimes it will be a solution you with your own mind would have never thought of, as this was the case with my handcrafted jewelry hobby. I would have never thought that this simple hobby could provide the healing I needed.

When we seek to please God rather than pleasing other people, we will receive divine remedies for our problems regardless of the nature of that problem. It is no wonder people think certain stones have healing properties. Others have probably experienced some of the same kind of happenings, remedies or healing as I have experienced with handcrafted jewelry making.

Whenever you want to give a gift to others that says “I love you,” give handcrafted jewelry as Jesus has given to me.

Jewelry Art: Expressions of Who We Are and What we Are and Where We Have Been and How We Feel

When I was a child I always wanted to do something “artistic.” I loved art class. When the art class was over I was so elated by it all I could hardly come down enough to get into Math classes and other subjects. Easter was so much fun in school. In the elementary grades we  made easter baskets. I remember ones we made out of empty Quaker Oats containers and colored toilet paper.

It was so much fun to roll those pieces of colored toilet paper into some kind of odd looking shape and paste it onto the Quaker Oats contaniner. When it was decorated with toilet paper we placed some kind of sturdy handle (of which my memory now does not allow me to know exactly what that was made of). The finished piece was always like a total surprise because I never knew exactly what I was trying to create, just busy creating was the elated feeling of it all, lost in a world of “doing something with my hands.”

Most children experience something “artistic” to do. They take delight in unraveling the mysteries of the world and then return to the world whatever they learned with a unique something or other from their own imaginations.

I was much like that, always lost in a world of wonderful creative play. I fortunately had parents who felt like children should be given a life to just “be” and to just “play” and have fun. There were rules of course. I had to stay within certain boundaries in my house inside and outside, but the sky was the limit after I knew what the rules were and for as long as I stayed within the house rules.

Most people leave childhood play and art behind as they grow up not even realizing that in the world of work it can all be the same, follow a few rules, and the sky is the limit as to what any one person can do, at least in America that is how we can be. The lucky ones remain artists in some way or another on into adulthood and old age and retain that wonderful childlike spirit of the world’s possibilities. For these, there is always another way to tell their stories in artistic expressions.

Making jewelry is an art. Wearing jewelry is art.  We can follow the patterns, colors and shapes of what we see and create new designs to wear and embellish our clothes or body. A jewelry artist tells their own personal story to the world in every piece they make. Each person can pick and choose jewelry that also tells their story as they wear their personal choices. Every piece of jewelry you wear from a jewelry artist is a tiny piece of their own special life’s stories. You might not know it for real, but it is.

Through the pieces of jewelry I create, I believe I convey deep feelings of passion, love, war, and much more. I especially like using the colors of red and black it seems and to me red means passion, black means darkness.

Passion has many dark sides to it. It seems every time I put on a pair of earrings with the colors of red and black, I look into the mirror and say: “this is me.” I am deeply passionate in a way that somehow also creates darkness within me, hence, the balance of red and black I seem to choose a lot in my jewelry designs.

I am especially attracted to heart charms which also indicates a deep love for romance and passion. I make jewelry to wear, to give as gifts and to sell (these are all parts of my story refected in artistic jewelry making). As I wear pieces I create and other jewelry artist create I continue telling my story ever so quietly and subtle. And it is exactly that expressions that are so delicate or precise as to be difficult to analyze or describe.

Whether people realize it or not, everything they put on their bodies is a reflection of who they are on the inside. Jewelry seems to just add the icing to the cake making a complete picture of us to present to the world. Explore my collections and journey into my world while creating your own look to present to the world as well.
